Be Polite When Playing Roulette |
| |
Roulette is one of the most popular like bingo game in the casino. Everybody there wants to have a good time, so following a few little rules of etiquette insures that players enjoy themselves while playing. A roulette table can accommodate eight players. If the table is crowded you will have to wait your turn. Don’t elbow in. Buy your chips during the betting period. Place your money on the table and wait for the croupier to reach you. Each player has their own color chips which can’t be used anywhere else in the casino.
When you leave, you cash them in at the cashier’s cage. Only place your bets during the designated period. The croupier will signal the beginning and the end of the betting period. If you are too late, you will have to wait until the next round. After the ball drops into a pocket on the wheel, the croupier will announce the winner and place a marker on the table. He will then settle with the winning players and remove the chips from the table. During this period, players are not allowed to touch any of the chips on the table. Doing so may result in the player’s removal from the casinos. Common rules of etiquette also prevail.
Don’t be rude or abusive to the other players or the staff. That creates a tense situation and may results in the player being asked to leave. Don’t forget to tip the croupier during your play. |
