Etiquette at the Roulette Table |

Casino games each have their own brand of etiquette like the bingo game has. Etiquette refers to what you should and shouldn’t do at the Roulette table. Everybody at the table wants to have a good time so don’t do anything unpleasant or anything that makes people tense. The common rules of etiquette apply here as they do in other situations.
Don’t be abusive to the staff or the other casino players. That kind of behavior is never appreciated. Only place your bets during the designated betting time. When the croupier signals that is the end of the betting period, don’t argue with him or try to place additional bets. You have to wait until the next spin. As soon as the ball drops into the slot, the croupier will announce the winner and place a marker on the table and will pay off the winners. During this time, you can’t touch any of the chips on the table. You have to wait until he finishes and clears the chips from the table. Not following this rule may have the player asked to leave the casino.
When you are placing your chips on the felt during the betting period, don’t knock over or move other player’s chips. The chips are different colors so player’s can place the same bets without any confusion. If you need more chips wait until the betting period of the appropriate time to buy them. The croupier will probably ask you. Also, remember to periodically tip the dealer. |
