How to Place Bets in Roulette |

The Roulette table layout is the area where players place there bets unlike play bingo. The croupier will signal the beginning and the end of the betting period. This is the only time in the casino game when the player is allowed to place bets. The player indicates the kind of bet he is placing by how and where he places his chips on the layout. He indicates the amount of the bet by the number of chips.
Straight Up Bet – place the chip directly over the number that you are betting on.
Split – place the chip on the line dividing the two numbers you are betting on.
Street – place the chip on the outer right edge of the layout next to the row of the three numbers that you are betting on.
Corner – place the chip where the four numbers intersect.
Five – place the chip on the outer edge of the layout boundary line.
Line – place the chip on the outer right boundary line of the layout between the two rows.
Column – place the chip in one of the boxes marked “2 to 1”, corresponding to the twelve number column that you want to bet on.
Dozen – place the chip in one of the boxes below the columns labeled “1st 12”, “2nd 12”, or “3rd 12”.
Low/High – place the chip in either the “1 to 18” or the “19 to 36” box.
Even/Odd – place the chip in the box marked “Even” or “Odd”.
Red/Black – place the chip in the box marked “Red” or “Black”. |
