Roulette Table Layout

A casino roulette table has a spot for the wheel on it and also a grid-like section with numbers on it.  This grid-like section is called the layout and is where bets are placed.  Looking at the outer edges of the grid, the two hexagons contain the zero and double zero entries.

On the opposite side of the layout are three boxes with odds in them, one box with odds for each row.  In between the two edges are three columns of numbers with twelve numbers in each column.

Going down each column, the numbers three, two and one are in the first row next to the hexagons.  The next row is six, five and four, as so on across the table.  The color of the boxes corresponds to the color of the number pocket on the roulette wheel.  Underneath the three columns of numbers are three long rectangular boxes that say “1st 12”, “2nd 12” and “3rd 12”.  These correspond to the three columns of twelve numbers and this is where bets are placed on each column. On the very bottom of the layouts are boxes where the bets for “1 to 18” are placed on the left side and “19 to 36” on the right side.

The next box on the inside left are for bets on “Even” and the inside right box is for bets on “Odd”. The middle two boxes, with a red diamond and a black diamond, are for bets on the colors.  If a bet isn’t placed on one of the thirty-eight numbers, it is called an outside bet. Like free online bingo this game is very popular online.
